Green’s Cut

Green’s Cut United Methodist Church will have its 2010 revival 7 p.m., Sunday-Thursday, Aug. 22-26. The Rev. Roger Browning of New Hope Christian Church in Alberta, Va. will be the evangelist. A light supper will be served each night at 6 p.m. There will be special music each night.

Green Branch

Green Branch Baptist Church and its featured group “Branches of Destiny” are sponsoring the “Under Construction Concert” 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, at the Burke County Office Park, located on West Sixth Street in Waynesboro. Haven-Munnerlyn United Methodist Church will have its Family and Friends Day program 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 22. The speaker will be the Rev. Jimmy McCullough of Ways Grove Baptist. The Rev. Nedenia Barber, pastor, invites the public.

Shepherds House

The Shepherds House will have revival 7:30 nightly, Wednesday, Aug. 25 and Thursday, Aug. 26. Speakers will be Kathy Walker and the Rev. Brian Washington.

Bark Camp

Bark Camp Baptist Church will celebrate its 149th church anniversary 11:15 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 15. Sunday school begins at 10:30 a.m. The annual fall revival will held 7 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday, Aug. 17-19. The Rev. Elliott Bing, pastor of Phillip Grove Baptist, will be the guest revivalist. The Rev. Junior Harris is pastor.

Asbury

Asbury United Methodist Church’s Family and Friends Day will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Carlton Howard of Noah’s Ark Baptist. The Rev. Nedenia Barber, pastor, invites the public.

Bell Grove Baptist Church will have its revival 7:30 nightly, Monday Friday, Aug. 16-20. The Rev. Roosevelt Anthony of Jerusalem Baptist will be the guest minister. The Rev. John Bush is pastor.

Second Hopeful

Second Hopeful Baptist Church will celebrate its 143rd church anniversary 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 12. The Rev. Charles Hyde, pastor of Black Creek Baptist of Sylvania, will be the guest pastor.

First Baptist – Gough

First Baptist Church of Gough’s women ministries will have a Hat Day program 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 14. The public is invited.

Thompson Bridge

Thompson Bridge Baptist Church will celebrate its 102nd church anniversary 11 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 15. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m. Willie Lee Lewis and Ellen Lewis will serve as master and mistress of ceremonies. The Rev. Bobby Griffin is pastor.

Pine Hill

Pine Hill Baptist Church will have its revival 7 p.m., through Thursday, Aug. 12. The Rev. General Jennings of Bottsford Spring Baptist will be the guest minister. The church will celebrate its 141st church anniversary 11 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 15. Horace McGee and Gladys Johnson will be worship leaders. The Rev. James Lewis will deliver the message.

Waynesboro

William Grove Baptist Church of Waynesboro will have its 15th Shoe Rally 3:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 15. The Revelators of Augusta will be special guests. Refreshments will be served.

Jones Grove Baptist Church will have its Senior Citizen Appreciation Day 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 15. Sunday school begins at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. Melvin Habersham is pastor.

Franklin Covenant

Franklin Covenant Baptist Church will have its youth revival 7 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday, Aug. 24-26. The Rev. Chavas Boyd will be the guest minister. He is pastor of Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Augusta.

Antioch Rock Creek

Antioch Rock Creek Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual revival 7:30 nightly, Monday Friday, Aug. 16-20. The Rev. K.E. Phillips, pastor of Kingdom Advancement Ministries of Wrightsville, will be the guest minister. The church will celebrate its 159th church anniversary 11 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 22. Sunday school begins at 10 a.m.
