Planter’s EMC Helps BCHS FFA

Planter’s EMC donated $2,500 for the Burke County High School Livestock Team to purchase a 32-foot trailer. This trailer will be used to expand the existing livestock programs at the middle and high school. More than 20 students have signed up to show dairy, and even more have shown interest in showing goats. Showing livestock teaches students responsibility and dedication. The trailer that was purchased will be painted and will have the EMC’s logo placed on it. BCHS FFA president Haley Bowen and BCHS principal Sam Adkins accept the check from Planters.
