St. Michael’s

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church will have its ‘Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper 5:30-7 p.m., Feb. 21. There will be a pancake eating contest. Also, the church will have Ash Wednesday service with imposition of ashes Feb. 22.

Fairfield Fairfield Baptist Church will have its annual Family and Friends Fellowship 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19. The Rev. Ira Hendricks and New Birth Baptist will be the special guests.

Second Hopeful

Second Hopeful Missionary Baptist Church will have its Spring Revival 7 p.m., March 6-8. The guest minister will be the Rev. Howard Harden, pastor of Spring

Grove Baptist in Hephzibah. The public is invited. Also, the church will celebrate the 26th anniversary of the Inspirational Choir 2 p.m., Sunday, March 11. All choirs are asked to sing one selection. Please sign in at the door.

Blounts Chapel Baptist Church will celebrate its choir’s anniversary 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 18.

Clear Spring

Clear Spring Missionary Baptist Church will have its annual Friends and Family program 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 26. Sunday school begins at 10:30 a.m.

Bible Fellowship

The Dixie Echoes Quartet will be in concert 7 p.m., Thursday,

Feb. 16, at Bible Fellowship Church in Martinez. The Dixie Echoes have been performing for over 50 years and were voted one of the Top 10 Quartets in America in the Singing News Fan Awards. New Springfield Baptist Church of Alexander will have a prayer breakfast 8:30 a.m., Feb. 18. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Nathaniel Howard, pastor of McElmurray Grove Baptist. Also, the church’s African American History program 11 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 19. The guest speaker will the Rev. Steven Leverette, pastor of Daniel Grove Baptist.

Jones Grove Baptist will be celebrate its annual Black History program 10:30 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 19. Beginning at 2:30 p.m., the Jones Grove Young Adult Choir will celebrate its choir anniversary. The Rev. Melvin Habersham, pastor, invites the public.

Gospel Explosions will have its pastor’s appreciation services 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16 and Friday, Feb. 17. Services continue 4 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19. A dinner will be held 6 p.m., Saturday in Statesboro.

William Grove William Grove Baptist of Waynesboro will celebrate its second Rainbow Tea program 4 p.m.,

Saturday, Feb. 18. The Rev. Darryl Burns invites the public.
