Red Hill

Red Hill Baptist Church of Alexander will hold its annual Harvest Revival, 7:30 nightly, Oct. 29-31. Guest pastors will be Rev. Clinton Bates on Monday, Rev. Lewis Williams on Tuesday and Rev. Tony Bush on Wednesday. The Harvest Celebration will continue, Sunday, Nov. 4 with Sunday school and 10 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m. Dinner will be served, and the public is invited.

New Birth

New Birth Missionary Baptist Church will continue its revival, 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31 and Thursday, Nov. 1. Speakers are Pastor James Waltower of Dickey Grove Baptist Church and Needful Baptist church of Millen (Wednesday) and Pastor George Smith of Macedonia Baptist Church of Martinez (Thursday). The church will also hold an Anniversary service, 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4 with the Rev. Clary Dishmond Jr. of Brown Gove Baptist Church of Keysville. The Rev. Ira Hendrix Jr., pastor, invites the public.

West Millen Baptist

West Millen Baptist Church, located on Highway 25, will present Judgment House ’12, 6:30-9 p.m. nightly through Nov. 1. Walk-ins are welcome. For reservations call (912) 536- 4408.

Forest Hill

Forest Hill Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2458 Gough-Red Hill Road in Keysville, will host its monthly prayer breakfast Saturday, 8:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 3. The public is invited.

Ordination Services

Ordination services will be held for Antonio Wesby 5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4, at St. Clair Missionary Baptist Church in Keysville.

Allen Chapel

Allen Chapel Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate its 74th Usher Anniversary, 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4. The Rev. Willie Given, pastor of Cochran Baptist

Church in Girard and Second Springfield Baptist Church in Waynesboro will be in charge of the service.

Thompson Bridge

Thompson Bridge Baptist Church will celebrate its 37th Ushers’Anniversary, 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4. The Rev. Elliot Bing and the Phillip Grove Baptist Church family will be in charge of services. Sister Sabrina Ellison will be mistress of the ceremony. The Rev. Bobby Griffin, pastor, invites the public.

Second McCannon

Second McCannon Baptist Church of Sardis will celebrate its Harvest Day, 11 a.m., Sunday Nov. 4. Rev Antonio Wesby invites the public.

Fairfield Baptist

Fairfield Baptist Church will hold its Sunday School Anniversary, 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4. The Rev. James Lewis and Second Bynes Gove Baptist Church is in charge of the service. Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall. Rev. Peter Parker, pastor, invites the public.

Thomas Grove Baptist Church, located at 426 West Sixth Street in Waynesboro, will hold its annual Veterans Day program, 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 11. Major Dewayne Brabham of Augusta will be the guest speaker. Rev. Willie B. Tomlin, pastor, invites the public. Dinner will be served.

Second Hopeful Church of Hephzibah will hold a Harvest Day program, 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 11. Rev. Raford W. Roundtree, pastor, invites the public.

Mt. Olive

Mt. Olive African Methodist Episcopal Church will observe its 125th Anniversary, 11 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 11. The Rev. Carl Johnson, pastor, invites the public. Dinner will be served.

Mt. Zion

Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, located at 2526 Lumpkin Road, will hold its 118th Anniversary Celebration, 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11. The Rev. Chavis Boyd, pastor of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, will be the guest minister.

Raise Bridge

Raise Bridge CME Church will hold its 115th Church Anniversary, 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11. Rev. Makenzie McDaniel, pastor, will be coordinating the service. All churches are invited to participate.

Piney Grove

Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, located in the Cross - Green community, will hold its annual Family & Friends Day celebration, 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11. The Rev. Robert Stephens, pastor of Drakes Chapel and Beechwood Baptist churches, will deliver the message. The Greater St. James Baptist Church Male Chorus will perform. Dinner will be served. Rev. Michael Thomas, pastor, invites the public.

Metropolitan Baptist

The Metropolitan Baptist Church “Women of Faith” Women Ministry will celebrate its 12th Anniversary, 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11. The theme for is “Gracious women looking for a change.” Guest speaker is Evangelist Diane Carter, member of Second Springfield. Rev Charles Shipman invites the public.

Living Word

Church Of The Living Word, located at 423 Ward Street in Waynesboro, will hold a Unity Revival, 7:30 nightly, Tuesday Nov. 13th - Thursday Nov. 15. Guest speakers include Rev. Ira Hendrix, Jr. of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church (Tuesday),

Pastor Roger Lane of Green Branch Christian Faith Center (Wednesday) and Rev. Elliott Bing of Phillip Grove Missionary Baptist Church (Thursday).
