Mills Grove Mills Grove Baptist Church will continue Annual Spring Revival, 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 24. Rev. Chavous Boyd of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church is guest minister.

Third Chapel Third Chapel Baptist church will continue its revival, 7:30 p.m. nightly, Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25. Guest minister is Rev. Willie Givens of Springfield Baptist Church.

Living Word Church Of The Living Word, located at 423 Ward Street in Waynesboro, will host a youth event, “Like Music to My Ears,” 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 26.

Friendship Baptist An appreciation program honoring Deacon Arthur Lee Sims will be held 4 p.m., Saturday, April 27 at Friendship Baptist Church.

Barrett Grove Barrett Grove Baptist Church will celebrate its second Pastor’s Appreciation for Rev. Antonio F. Bush Sr., 3 p.m., Saturday, April 27. Rev. Tony Wesby and 2nd McCannon Baptist Church members are in charge of the service.

Thankful Baptist Thankful Baptist Church will hold its Annual Family & Friends Day, 3 p.m., Saturday, April 27. Rev. Clary Dishmond and Browns Grove Baptist Church members are in charge of the service.

True Vine Outreach True Vine Outreach Ministry, located at 448 Lovers Lane in Waynesboro, will hold a cake program, 4 p.m., Saturday, April 27.

Lewis Holy Temple Elder Lerone Lewis, pastor of Lewis Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, will be celebrate his 19th Pastoral Anniversary, 3 p.m., Sunday, April 28 at the Old Blakeney school building on College Street. Guest pastor is Rev. Samuel Cooper.

New Birth New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, located at 847 Shadrack Street in Waynesboro, will host the 2nd Appreciation Service for Pastor Ira Hendrix Jr., 3 p.m., Sunday, April 28. Special guests will be Pastor Elliott Bing and the Phillip Grove Baptist Church family. A Pre-Anniversary Revival will continue, 7:30 p.m., Wednesday April 24 with Pastor Michael Riley of New Birth Nondenominational of Statesboro.

First Baptist of Sardis First Baptist Church of Sardis will honor its senior citizens, 10:30 a.m., Sunday, April 28. Rev. Isaac Barnwell and Bark Camp Baptist members are in charge of the service.

William Grove William Grove Baptist Church of Waynesboro will celebrate its 3rd Pastoral Anniversary, 11:30 a.m., Sunday, April 28. The Rev. Virgil Lynch, pastor of Pine Hill Baptist Church, will be the guest speaker.

Hopeful Baptist Hopeful Baptist Church will hold its 199th Homecoming, Sunday, April 28 beginning with 10:30 a.m. worship followed by dinner in the fellowship hall. No Sunday school or evening worship will be held.

New & Living Way New and Living Way Worship Center, located at 911 Herman Lodge Blvd. in Waynesboro, will celebrate its 8th anniversary with services 5 p.m., Sunday, April 28; 7:30 p.m. nightly, Monday, April 29 through Thursday, May 2; and 4 p.m., Sunday, May 5. Guest speakers, in order of services, are Apostle Leon Carr, Pastor Marcullus Hanners Sr., Pastor Jessie Mountain, Pastor Ashley Moore Sr., Pastor Sylvester Middleton Sr. and Bishop Elvin B. Thompson.

Metropolitan Baptist Metropolitan Baptist Church will hold revival services, 7:30 p.m., Monday April 29– Friday, May 3. Rev. Herman Bing of Carpentersville Baptist Church of North Augusta will be the evangelist for the week.

Fellowship Missionary

Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Waynesboro will host its first Women’s Conference, May 4-5. The program opens at 9 a.m. Saturday with a meet and greet. Sunday’s events kick off with 10 a.m. Sunday school. The theme is “Women of God Finding Purpose through All the Pain.” Speakers are Dr. Gale LeVon, Minister Gissell Brown and Minister Beverly Duger.

Red Hill

Red Hill Baptist Church of Alexander will host a 24th Anniversary Celebration for Rev. Eddie Walker and Sister Walker, 2 p.m., Sunday, May 5. Guest speaker is Rev. Elliot Bing of Phillip Grove Baptist Church. The celebration will be preceded by an 11 a.m. worship service.

Ward Grove

Ward Grove Baptist Church will hold a Deacon and Deaconess Appreciation Program, 3 p.m., Sunday, May 5. Refreshments will be served.
