Mills Grove

Mills Grove will host its Children’s Black History & Singing Extravaganza, 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 8. Refreshments will be served. The church will also host its Annual Men & Women Day program, 11 a.m., on Sunday, Feb. 23.

St. Michael’s

St. Michael’s Episcopal Church is hosting a Lunch- Break-Drop-in Class in the parish hall by the city park, noon- 1 p.m. every Wednesday. The group is discussing the variety of spiritual expressions of faith using Richard Foster’s book, Living Streams as a springboard, though you do not need to read the book. Jones Grove

Jones Grove Baptist Church, located at 182 Hickson Rd. in Midville, will present “Love Connection 2014,” 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb 8. Guest speaker is Rev. Norris Rouse, Pastor of Cumming Grove Baptist Church in Augusta.

Mt. Olive

Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Louisville will celebrate the 24th Pastoral Anniversary of Pastor and First Lady Blockum, Sunday, Feb. 9 beginning with 10:30 a.m. Sunday school and 11:30 a.m. worship service.

Gospel Explosions

Gospel Explosions of Sardis will celebrate its Pastor’s 16th Appreciation Anniversary with nightly services, Sunday, Feb. 9 through Sunday, Feb. 16. Service begins at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Feb. 9: Pastor Douglas Jones, 6 p.m.; Feb. 10: Pastor Arnold Kelly; Feb. 11 and 12: Pastor Matthew Davis; Feb. 13: Pastor Elizabeth Howard; Feb. 14: Pastor Emory Hagins; Feb. 15: Pastor’s Choice Banquet; Feb. 16: Pastor Henry Frison, 4 p.m.

William Grove

William Grove Baptist Church will host its 4th Rainbow Program, 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15.

Fairfield Baptist

Fairfield Baptist Church, located on Ben Hatcher Road, will hold its Annual Family and Friends Fellowship, 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 16. Special guests are Rev. James O. Strowbridge and the Franklin Covenant Baptist Church family. Dinner will be served.

Springhill Baptist

Springhill Baptist Church of Hephzibah will celebrate its 88th Usher’s Anniversary, 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 16. Special guests are Rev. Howard Harden and the Spring Grove Baptist Church family of Hephzibah.

East Burke

Activities at East Burke Baptist Church in Sardis remain cancelled due to burst water pipes. The church is expected to reopen Feb. 9. The congregation is invited to all Sunday services at Big Horse Creek Baptist Church in Millen. Tuesday Men’s Bible Study, Wednesday Prayer Meeting and Thursday Women’s Bible Study, all starting at 6:30 p.m., will be held at the home of church members Darrell and Valerie Lewis, 466 Benjamin Rd, Sardis.
