My dear godchild,

I was so glad to hear that you are back in the Episcopal Church. I can tell from your letters that you are looking more deeply into your life and into your faith. You are asking questions about what your life has been and about issues of life and death itself.

I would suggest you sign up for some Bible, Church History or Theology course as a way to explore your many questions. I believe that in sharing a deeper journey with others who are also looking deeper, that you will discover a new and deeper relationship with God and with the church.

I look forward to hearing more of your questions. Remember what I told you years ago. There is no question that is out of line in the Church. We may not have all the answers in life, but I believe we are a place where you can have life and have it abundantly! God bless you in this part of your journey. I know it will be fruitful and fulfilling. I love you and God bless you.

P.S. I have asked my son and daughter to write this letter and future letters for me, since I have been so ill lately. I have told them all about you through the years. I guess since you are my godchild, then that makes them your God-brother and God-sister. I hope the three of you can get together one day.

Yours Truly,

Your Godfather
