WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24

Young Adults Human Board Games will be held at the Burke County Library, 3:30-5 p.m. Youth, grades 6-12, will act as their own game pieces in the life-sized board game.

THURSDAY, JUNE 25

The reorganized Domestic Violence Committee will meet, 10 a.m., at Wimberly House Ministries on Liberty Street in Waynesboro. FRIDAY, JUNE 26

A Super Hero Juggling Balls program will be held, 4 p.m., at the Sardis Public Library for ages 6-12.

Jaemar’s Therapy Dogs will perform, 10:30 a.m. at the Burke County Public Library in Waynesboro.

Midville teen Rebekah Ramey will show children her livestock and pets, 2 p.m., at the Midville Library.

SATURDAY, JUNE 27

The 7th Annual Ballin’ For a Cause tournament will be held June 27-28 at Citizens Park Gym in Waynesboro. Registration is open for men’s, women’s and co-ed basketball teams with at least five players. The tourney is held in memory of the late Demond Jackson Sr., a former Bear, and provides college scholarships to Burke County graduates. SUNDAY, JUNE 28

Waynesboro Toastmasters will meet, 5 p.m. at 841 Jones Avenue. The club is scheduled to receive the Community Service Award from the Debutante Society. Cynthia Dixon is the speaker. Guests are welcome to attend.

TUESDAY, JUNE 30

A Community Blood Drive will be held, 1-6 p.m., at the Wardlow Building, 7th and Academy in Waynesboro. The drive is sponsored by Shepeard Community Blood Center and benefits patients in the CSRA, including Burke County.

TUESDAY, JULY 7

The Waynesboro Lions Club will meet, 5:30 p.m., at the Lakeview Restaurant. All members and those interested in joining are asked to attend.
