Dr. Faye Marie Black to wed Joseph Barnes Jenkins DeLoach

ENGAGEMENT


Joseph Barnes Jenkins DeLoach and Dr. Faye Marie Black Joseph Barnes Jenkins DeLoach and Dr. Faye Marie Black Mr. and Mrs. Roger A. Black of Millen are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Faye Marie Black, of Athens to Joseph Barnes Jenkins DeLoach of Eatonton. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. DeLoach, III of Eatonton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Burke and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Black, all of Millen. She is a 2001 honor graduate of Jenkins County High School, a 2003 honor graduate of South Georgia College with an Associate’s Degree in Education, a 2005 Suma Cum Laude graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education, a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Master’s in Early Childhood Education, a 2010 graduate of Piedmont College with a Specialist’s in Teaching and Learning and a 2015 graduate of Piedmont College with an Educational Doctorate in Curriculum Design. She is currently employed by the Barrow County Board of Education as a fifth grade teacher at Statham Elementary School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lines of Haddock and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph B. DeLoach, Jr. of Eatonton. He is a 2001 honor graduate of Putnam County High School, a 2003 honor graduate of Young Harris College with an Associate’s Degree, and a 2005 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness. He is currently employed by Goodwin Event Rentals in Greensboro, Georgia.

The wedding will take place at 4 p.m. on October 10, 2015 at Fair Haven United Methodist Church, Millen. The reception will follow at the home of the bride’s parents. No local invitations will be sent. All family and friends are invited to attend.
