Shannon Saulsberry Shannon Saulsberry Jennifer Naas

Jennifer Naas of Waynesboro was named to the dean’s list for fall semester 2017 at Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C. In order to receive the honor, a student must earn a 3.00-3.74 grade point average during the semester. Naas is a freshman majoring in piano pedagogy.

David Mead

David Mead of Waynesboro graduated from Georgia College in Milledgeville during the December 2017 commencement ceremony. Mead majored in management. He is the son of Joe and Mary Ann Mead of Waynesboro.

Ivy Roberson

Ivy Roberson of Blythe was named to the academic achievement list at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus for fall 2017 semester and was one of 600 students recognized for scholastic achievement. To be eligible, a student must previously earn 12 or more credit hours, be enrolled in 2 to 11 hours of courses and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Shannon Saulsberry

Shannon Saulsberry graduated from Ball State University in Munice, Ind., on Dec. 16, with a Master of Arts in applied behavior analysis and autism. She is the daughter of Robert and Althea Baxley-Jones and Tommy Sr. and Adrienne Saulsberry and is the granddaughter of Mary Baxley. She is also the mother of Nia and Makenzie.

Georgia College

A number of local students were named to the president’s list at Georgia College in Milledgeville for fall semester 2017. Those students include Abigail Saxon and Karrie Kent, both of Waynesboro, and Macy Unruh and Samantha Sasser, both of Louisville. Other local students were named to the dean’s list for fall semester. They include Robert Graham, Laura Lamb and Aaron Watson, all of Louisville, and Katelynn Kent of Waynesboro.
