BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES

Community Service Board of Middle GA- Ogeechee Division located at 292 W. 4th Street in Waynesboro is now offering open access for behavioral health and substance abuse services on every Tuesday and Thursday. Registration begins at 7:30 AM and ends at 3 PM. A picture ID is required and the insurance card. The hope is to remove barriers to those in the community seeking innovative behavioral healthcare.

Waynesboro Toastmasters will meet at 5 p.m. at 841 Jones Avenue. In fellowship and fun, Toastmasters helps members develop leadership and communication skills in a learn-bydoing environment. TUESDAY, MARCH 6

First Tuesday at Liberty community fellowship at Liberty Market, 107 E. 7th Street, from noon-1 Pastor Elliott Bing will preach, and we will enjoy a complimentary lunch along with singing and prayer. Free diabetic teaching will be offered in the Burke Medical Center classroom, 6-8 p.m. The course is designed to help diabetics learn how to better control their diabetes through healthy eating. Participants should eat before they come and are encouraged to bring along their partners or anyone who helps with food preparation. Please enter through Emergency Room waiting area.
